Shanker commenced in the role of Digital health lead with Charles Sturt University in August 2019 after transitioning from the University of New South Wales where he worked as an IT application specialist. Shanker graduated with a Bachelor of Computing from the University of Tasmania in 2010 and completed his Master of Cyber Security Operations in 2022.
