Profile

Vennassa is a Rural Generalist who is committed to providing healthcare in rural and remote communities with a particular focus on First Nations health.  She has worked in rural and remote areas in Queensland, Western Australia and New South Wales.

She is responsible for the development and delivery of Indigenous curriculum at Charles Sturt University.  Her role at Charles Sturt University is to provide support and promote culturally appropriate Indigenous medical education, collaborate with relevant stakeholders and to engage medical students in cultural awareness activities.
