Skye grew up in western NSW and studied medicine at UNSW. She completed general practice training in Central West NSW including an academic GP term with University of Sydney, School of Rural Health in Orange where she worked on the ARCHER adolescent rural cohort study.

She worked as a GP at Orange Aboriginal Medical Service for 12 years, with a particular interest in women’s and children’s health. She has completed a Master of Public Health through UNSW.

She supervises general practice registrars and medical students, and works for the RACGP as a Senior Medical Educator for the delivery of Australian General Practice Training in NSW and ACT.

Skye is stream lead for Population Health at CSU. She has completed a Master of Public Health through UNSW, and worked on the ARCHER adolescent rural cohort study with University of Sydney, School of Rural Health as part of a GP academic term. She has a commitment to providing quality teaching and has completed a Certificate of Medical Education through the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE).
