Profile

Dr Mina Sarofim is a General and Colorectal surgeon. He is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and completed surgical training in both metropolitan and rural NSW. He obtained his Master of Surgery at the University of Sydney.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mina has a strong research interest in colorectal and peritoneal cancer. He has extensive experience in medical education at undergraduate, postgraduate and Masters level degrees for which he has received several awards. He is also an Examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

At Charles Sturt University, Mina works alongside the clinical curriculum team to enhance the content and quality of surgical teaching at the Rural Medical School.
