MBBCh, FRACGP, Clin Sip Pall Med, Grad Cert Health Services Management Gayle is a vocationally trained General Practitioner who completed her fellowship training in rural Queensland with the Remote Vocational Training Scheme. She has post-fellowship clinical experience in rural health, palliative care, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and correctional health. During this time, she established a telehealth Hepatitis C treatment service for prisoners, in conjunction with a tertiary gastroenterology and hepatology service, and conducted research into the implementation of the program. Gayle has more recently worked in public health and medical administration in regional Queensland and New South Wales. Gayle has overall operational responsibility for the Rural Generalist Program, Year 3-5 of the MD Program. She is also leading the delivery of the General Practice curriculum stream across Years 1-5 of the MD Program.
