Stable Bookings

All stabling bookings must be made through Nominate via the following link:

  • If hiring a stable you are required to have bedding, shavings can be purchased for $10/Stable Block Abale (3 bales provides a light to medium coverage). Please note, A Block stables have rubbing matting.
  • A bond of $50 is required for each booking.  Stables must be left clean, with all manure and bedding removed. If left dirty the $50 bond will not be refunded.
  • Cancellations for stabling outside of 48 hours from the event date will be charged 50% of the booking fee. Cancellation of booking made less than 48 hours from the event date will be charged 100% of the booking fee.

Facility Bookings

The facilities of the Equine Centre can be hired for use by individuals or clubs for approved equine activities.

Please note members of the public may hire the facilities at the Equine Centre under the following conditions:

  • Proof must be shown to the Equine Centre Manager of current financial membership of an equestrian society which provides personal accident insurance in the event of injury incurred while riding at the Equine Centre (eg. Equestrian Australia).
  • The Equine Centre Manager will provide such persons with an induction of the facilities
  • Use of the facilities must be booked through the Equine Centre Office.

To make a facility booking for an event  you must complete the Equine Centre Facility Booking Form.  To make a facility booking for shared riding by an individual you must complete the Shared Facility Hire Booking Form.

Please ensure you read and sign the Conditions of Use attached to the booking form relating to hire of the arena, stables and other Equine Centre amenities before a booking request is made.

Student Boarding

  • Student boarding is offered to current CSU students and includes a stable, shared paddock turn-out, a tack & feed storage area and use of all facilities. Boarding costs $6.50 per day, a small number of private day yards are available for an additional $2 per day for those who do not want to use the shared student paddocks.
  • Each boarder may keep only one horse at a time at the Equine Centre.
  • Students are expected to provide their own feed and are fully responsible for the feeding, care and exercise of their horse.
  • All students and staff boarding at the Equine Centre are required to be an Equestrian Australia member or an ESA Student Club member for insurance purposes
  • All horses must be wormed and vaccinated for tetanus and strangles before arriving.
