Associate Professor John Rae was appointed Head, School of Dentistry and Medical Sciences in July 2021. This followed several years of experience as Associate Head, School of Biomedical Sciences and over a decade of experience as Senior Lecturer in Health Management and Leadership.

Prior to joining Charles Sturt, John fulfilled various clinical and leadership roles within the NSW health care system, primarily in regional areas.

John’s qualifications include a PhD, Master of Education (Hons), Master of Health Services Management, Bachelor of Education and various other health-related diplomas and certificates.
