Maddy is a registered physiotherapist with a diverse background spanning private practice, elite sports, and occupational health. Over the course of her career, she has worked with a broad range of clients ranging from general population to high-performance athletes, delivering evidence-based care and tailored rehabilitation programs. Her expertise in sports physiotherapy has seen her travel internationally as part of several Australian cycling teams providing performance support.  Maddy also brings a unique perspective as a former competitive cyclist at continental level.

Maddy has several years of experience teaching human anatomy and physiology to students across a range of health disciplines.  She is passionate about health and enjoys helping students to better understand and appreciate the incredible machine that is the human body.

Maddy’s Honours research - completed at Charles Sturt University - investigated muscle physiology in animal models to better understand potential biochemical drivers for progressive muscle wasting conditions such as Duchenne’s Muscular dystrophy.
