Kiran has a clinical experience of over 10 years as a dental hygienist in private clinical settings across Australia, along with overseas experience as a dentist for 4 years. With a keen interest in academics, he has stepped into the role of a lecturer at CSU, simultaneously studying a master’s in Health Professions Education (UWA) to further his interest and passion

Kiran is currently teaching undergraduate BOH students with a focus on the dental hygiene components of the program, with a special emphasis on periodontal disease, its diagnosis and non- surgical management along with prevention.

Kiran has a special interest in the systemic and social determinants and risks for periodontal disease and intends to pursue research in that field, along with dental public health in rural populations.
