BSc Diag. Rad (UG), M.Phil. HealthPhys & RadProt (UG) Jacob is a Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography at Charles Sturt University with a strong commitment to student learning, support, and professional development within Medical Radiation Sciences (MRS) and health professions education. His work focuses on creating supportive learning environments that foster student success, resilience, reflective practice, and professional capability development. Jacob is actively involved in curriculum development and enhancement, contributing to the design and delivery of contemporary learning experiences that prepare students for the evolving demands of healthcare practice. In addition to his teaching and academic responsibilities, he serves as an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences (JMIRS), contributing to the advancement of scholarship and professional practice. Jacob has previously worked as a Lecturer in Medical Imaging at the Accra Technical University and a Research Assistant at the University of Ghana. He is currently completing his PhD in Medical Radiation Sciences. Jacob teaches within the Diagnostic Radiography discipline, with interests in clinical education, student learning, professional development, and workforce preparedness. His teaching approach emphasises reflective learning, student engagement, psychological safety, and the development of resilient and compassionate healthcare professionals capable of navigating complex clinical environments. Jacob is also interested in educational innovation, culturally responsive teaching, and strategies that enhance student well-being and sustainable performance in healthcare education. His teaching philosophy is grounded in collaborative and student-centred learning approaches that encourage critical thinking, reflective practice, and lifelong professional development within Medical Radiation Sciences and broader health professions education. Jacob’s research focuses on resilience, sustainable performance, and workforce development in Medical Radiation Sciences education and practice. His work investigates challenging clinical interactions, clinical learning environments, professional identity formation, and the psychological and educational factors that influence student wellbeing, confidence, and professional readiness. His current research explores strategies for strengthening workforce resilience through reflective practice and supportive clinical education frameworks. He is also interested in theory–practice discrepancy, culturally responsive healthcare education, and the impact of technological advancement on professional learning and workforce preparedness in radiography. Jacob serves on the editorial board of JMIRS. His contributions to academic peer review have been recognised through the Outstanding Reviewer of the Year Award (2025) from the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences (JMIRS) and the Excellence in Reviewing Award (2025) from Radiography.Health Sciences4604066
