BHSc BMedRadSci(RT) GradCert Leadership (Health and Human Services) Hannah is a Radiation Therapist and Lecturer with Charles Sturt University. She completed her dual Bachelor of Health Sciences/Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences (Radiation Therapy) through the University of Tasmania and Charles Sturt University, before undertaking a Graduate Certificate in Leadership (Health and Human Services) at the University of Tasmania. Hannah has extensive clinical experience in radiation therapy planning, simulation and treatment delivery across both public and private oncology services. She is passionate about supporting the next generation of radiation therapists and enjoys combining her ongoing clinical practice with teaching to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application. Her professional interests include radiation therapy practice, workforce development, patient safety, and advancing the profession through education, collaboration, and continuous improvement. She maintains registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA) and is a member of the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT). Hannah recently joined Charles Sturt University as a Lecturer in Radiation Therapy, bringing with her extensive clinical experience gained across public and private radiation oncology services in Tasmania, Queensland and New South Wales. Drawing on her ongoing clinical practice, she is committed to helping students connect theoretical knowledge with contemporary clinical application. Hannah is passionate about creating a supportive, inclusive and learner-centred environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically and develop confidence in their clinical decision-making. She values authentic learning experiences that prepare graduates for the realities of professional practice while promoting patient-centred care, collaboration and lifelong learning. Hannah enjoys mentoring students throughout their professional journey and is dedicated to equipping future radiation therapists with the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours required to thrive in an evolving healthcare environment. Hannah is developing her research profile with a particular interest in the healthcare workforce, professional wellbeing, and the factors that influence safe, sustainable clinical practice. She is currently undertaking a research project examining contemporary challenges within the public healthcare workforce, with the aim of informing future research and contributing to evidence-based improvements in healthcare practice. Alongside her research, Hannah is committed to continuing her academic development through postgraduate study and is passionate about translating research into meaningful outcomes for clinical practice, education, and the broader healthcare community.
