Matt Gill

Senior Technical Officer
Albury / Wodonga
Building 666, Room 226

Profile

Matthew began his career in South Australia working for the private outdoor education sector. Matthew developed a sound understanding of fieldwork logistics, equipment, teaching and learning techniques, and group management.

Through the Sustainable Environments Research Group (SERG) at the University of South Australia, Matthew worked closely with research projects examining the effect of cattle grazing on rangeland ecosystems, the ecology of introduced tick species on southern Yorke Peninsula, and the food sources and foraging behaviour of western pygmy possums at Innes National Park.

Since moving to Charles Sturt University in 2011, Matthew has found his role both challenging and rewarding, and enjoys working in diverse environments with students and researchers of the School of Environmental Sciences.
