BHlthSci(Speech Path)(Hons) Laura is employed in a full time continuing position as a lecturer in speech pathology with a teaching and research focus. Laura currently teaches in the undergraduate and masters programs in speech pathology at Charles Sturt University. She coordinates and teaches in both face-to-face and online subjects over a range of practice areas. Laura has worked in various clinical roles over the years, including private practice working as a senior speech pathologist with a varied caseload across the paediatric, adolescent and adult population, contracting to primary schools, nursing homes and disability agencies, and working as a clinical educator for Charles Sturt University. Laura is in her final stages of completing her PhD titled: A cross-linguistic investigation of reliability of measurement of stuttering severity. She is also completing her Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. Laura is in her final stages of completing her PhD titled: A cross-linguistic investigation of reliability of measurement of stuttering severity. Laura was awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award scholarship from CSU and a Higher Degree Research Grant from Speech Pathology Australia to complete her PhD studies. Laura is also a peer reviewer of articles submitted to speech pathology journals.
