Profile

Lisa is a registered paramedic with over ten years of experience working across metropolitan and regional settings, including extensive practice in Sydney and regional environments. This experience has given her a strong understanding of the diverse clinical, operational, and community contexts in which paramedics work. Throughout her career, she has undertaken a range of leadership roles and education and training roles, which have reinforced the importance of effective leadership, teamwork, and respectful professional relationships in delivering safe, high-quality patient care. Lisa is passionate about supporting the next generation of paramedics and fostering confidence, clinical reasoning, and professional identity as students transition to graduate practice. Her teaching approach emphasises reflective practice, ethical decision-making, and the practical application of evidence-based care. She has also worked in private ambulance services, including retrieval and international repatriation roles, and is currently commencing a Master’s degree in research to further contribute to evidence-informed paramedic practice.
