Georgia studied as a paramedic in Australia before relocating to the UK in 2015. In her time in the UK, Georgia worked for South Central Ambulance Service and North West Ambulance Service before taking up a career in academia with the University of Cumbria. She gained her Fellowship in Higher education in 2021.

Georgia has a Masters of Research, undertaken within the paramedic arena, and is passionate about clinician inclusivity within research and research agendas.

Georgia has now joined Charles Sturt to support the undergraduate provision in July 2025.

Georgia has taught across a variety of subjects and student groups, with majority of her time in the post-graduate realm. She has a passion for ECGs and cardiology, as well as enhanced and advanced practice.

Georgia’s current research interests are encouraging clinicians into further education and research, as well as workforce planning and development, integration of paramedics into the wider allied health arenas and multidisciplinary learning and teaching.
