Alisha is an experienced intensive care paramedic and current Lecturer in paramedicine at Charles Sturt University. She is a passionate advocate for gender equality in the profession with her research focussing on the experiences of female paramedics in Australia. Alisha is passionate about promoting and driving change in the professional culture of paramedicine and supports diversity and inclusion in all aspects of paramedicine.

Alisha is the current chair of the Australasian College of Paramedicine clinical standards committee and also a member of the women in paramedicine committee.

As the current workplace learning lead and with her background in education, Alisha is strongly focussed on the individual student learning experience.

Alisha holds an undergraduate degree in teaching and has received numerous teaching awards of excellence whilst working as an academic at CSU.
