Leila has over 30 years of nursing experience and brings an extensive clinical and education background with Adult and Paediatric Intensive Care Nursing and Management across different countries. She has completed a Masters in Nursing, Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical practice (Intensive Care) and a Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management with several publications. Leila has a genuine passion with supporting the students' journey and transition into clinical practice whilst connecting with our communities. This has enabled her to travel nationally and internationally to support and deliver educational initiatives.

Leila has a strong interest in Capability Framework development and implementation, Curriculum design and development, Mentoring & Coaching for Leadership and Managing and leading teams

Leila has a passionate interest in the relatedness of the student journey to current evidence based clinical practice with a focus on:
