Ash has spent the last 13 years working in industry. She has had a variety of experience working in metropolitan, regional as well as remote NSW as a registered nurse and midwife. This experience was mostly in theatres, preadmissions, Aboriginal Maternal Infant Health Service Midwife (AMIHS), HDU/acute care and surgical wards. Her interests are in Women’s Health, Congenital Cardiology and improving patient outcomes.

Ash has worked as a casual academic at CSU in the nursing faculty and has now transitioned to a full time Associate Lecturer in Nursing with a teaching focus.

Ash is working towards research work in the future and looks forward to this.
