Alex graduated from CSU with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2010 and later completed a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing. She has over 15 years experience, predominately in emergency nursing, with senior clinical and leadership roles including Clinical Nurse Specialist, Clinical NUM and Clinical Nurse Consultant across emergency, telehealth and patient flow. Alongside her clinical career, Alex has been a seasonal academic with CSU for six years, contributing to the education of undergraduate nursing students.

Alex is passionate about supporting students and early career nurses to develop confidence, clinical reasoning and practical skills, with a strong focus on connecting theory with practice. She is committed to creating a supportive learning environment that encourage students to think critically and develop their professional identity as they transition into nursing practice
