Worked as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Departments: Port Macquarie Base Hospital (2012-2020); Liverpool Tertiary Teaching Hospital (2004-2011); Bankstown Lidcombe Hospital (2000-2001); Heart Beat Nursing Agency (2000-2004) worked across five Hospitals.

Interests: community outreach-teaching on health principles and healthy lifestyle choices. Hiking in nature, growing my own produce and advocacy for nursing students.

Worked as an Academic for Newcastle University (2019-2020): Taught in on-campus nursing labs and online; Facilitator at different health facilities and hospital assessor for 3rd year final assessment.

Currently a Nursing Lecturer at Charles Sturt University: Teaching-tutorials, intensive (residential) schools & nursing labs/OCI-labs. Has done tutoring for students from the Indigenous Academic Support Program (IASP).

Session one 2021: teaching NRS211 Acute Care Nursing & other subjects.

Currently is a PhD candidate with a HDR scholarship.
