BAppSc (Human Movement), BHlthSc (Podiatry), GCLTHE, MLearn&Dev, SFHEA (UK) Luke has been with CSU since 2009, initially as a clinical educator, and as a lecturer since 2010. In that time has taught a range of subjects and into multiple disciplines. His main interest areas being biomechanics, musculoskeletal pathology and sports medicine. Luke's research interests predominantly focus on sports medicine, biomechanics, and the use of technology to perform musculoskeletal analysis. Luke also has a strong interest in teaching and learning, and is constantly looking to incorporate technology, online engagement, and current teaching practices into his subject delivery. In order to develop skills in this area, Luke has completed a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and a Master of Learning and Development. He has also been awarded a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (UK). His PhD studies are investigating the influence of previous hamstring injuries on trunk and lower limb kinetics and kinematics of Australian Rules football players. He is also involved in an investigation of hamstring and adductor injuries among elite basketball players, collaborating with academics from the University of Newcastle, La Trobe University, Griffith University and the Australian Institute of Sport.
