Nerida graduated with honours from Charles Sturt University in 2009. She commenced her career working in a community health centre in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. She has worked in a range of practice areas including aged care, transition care program, private practice and community rehabilitation. She has also worked in a health promotion role around health literacy. Her special interest areas of practice include working with people with neurological conditions and working with the elderly to promote dignity in aging. She is passionate about providing excellence of care in rural, regional and remote areas.

Nerida has experience teaching first and second year subjects and has assisted with second year simulated clinical placement experience as clinical supervisor in the past.
