Emma (she/her) currently holds a 12-month role at CSU under the Mental Health Pathways to Practice funding, focusing on supporting mental health student placements, curriculum mapping, and enhancing placement capacity. Emma's professional journey began following her qualifications in Psychology and Occupational Therapy from La Trobe University. With over a decade of experience, she has cultivated expertise across diverse mental health domains, including psychosocial, youth, acute, forensic, hospital, and community settings.

Presently, Emma serves as an Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist specialising in trauma therapy. Concurrently, she co-facilitates pioneering EMDR therapy groups for clinicians at Mindful Living in Melbourne. In 2020, Emma commenced providing sessional support to First Nation’s CSU students pursuing degrees in Psychology and Mental Health. She continues to engage in this role today.

Emma is deeply committed to mental health advocacy and welcomes opportunities for CSU colleagues to connect with her through CSU Teams or LinkedIn (linkedin.com/in/emma-rendell-370566124).

Beyond her professional endeavours, Emma's upbringing on a dairy farm in rural Victoria and her work experiences in rural NSW have shaped her perspective. On a more personal note, Emma now finds herself in the coffee capital (Melbourne) and when not at work you can find Emma sipping lattes, listening to podcasts, attending music festivals and going on nature walks.
