Ruth Crawford is an Accredited Practising Dietitian. She has extensive experience in food service and education.

She was the Food Service Dietitian at the Australian Institute of Sport from 2000-2008 and more recently has worked as a Food Service consultant to residential aged care facilities, disability homes and correctional facilities.

In dietetic training and education she has worked as the CSU Nutrition & Dietetics Placement Coordinator and Clinical Educator in Nutrition for ACT Health. She has post graduate qualifications in adult education.

Ruth has contributed to the academic text Healthy Aging and Aged Care, Clinical Sports Nutrition and was a co-author of 2 of the successful AIS "Survival" series of cookbooks.

Her research interests include workplace learning, rural workforce challenges, healthy aging and oral health and nutrition.
