Kelsey completed her tertiary studies through Charles Sturt University at Bathurst, having completed a Bachelor of Sports Journalism, followed by a Bachelor of Exercise Science (Honours) and most recently completing a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in sport sociology.

More specifically, Kelsey’s research fields of interest revolve around sports media and sport sociology, with a particular focus on women in sport. Her PhD research investigated the experiences of women working within Australian rules football, a sport of which Kelsey has a strong interest in.

Kelsey has been working within the School of Exercise Science, Sport and Health for a number of years, and is currently an associate lecturer within the domains of sports media and sport sociology.
