Tim Miller is a Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology and Workplace Learning, as well as being the School’s Placement Coordinator. He joined CSU in 2018 after leaving an academic role at the University of Wollongong (UOW). Tim graduated from UOW with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation (with Distinction) and is currently undertaking a Master of Philosophy through UOW. Tim is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with experience practising in both the public and private hospital systems, as well as in private practice. He has also run his own private Exercise Physiology practice and has experience working with a wide variety of patients.

Tim’s primary teaching areas include:

  • Exercise rehabilitation for metabolic and renal conditions
  • Work integrated learning and clinical practicum

Tim’s research aims to improve the care received by people with chronic and complex medical conditions. He is currently researching the feasibility and effectiveness of using a multidisciplinary case conference model to improve the care received by people with osteoarthritis of the hip and knee.
