Matt has been working in student and academic services within the Australian university sector for over 20 years and has found this to be a very rewarding career. This time has included 19 years with the Faculty of Science at UNSW; a year with La Trobe University Rural Health School; and currently as Course Director for the School of Environmental Sciences at CSU.
In all of these settings Matt has enjoyed working with many hundreds of staff and students from diverse backgrounds. Being able to assist students in planning their programs and reaching their full potential has been a highlight. Matt has also greatly enjoyed the collegial atmosphere of working with academic staff and assisting them with their courses, subjects and various administrative needs over the years.
Matt has a passion for excellence in academic and student services in the higher education sector, and I have a great deal of experience in university systems and protocol at Charles Sturt.
