B. Speech and Hearing Science / B. EC Teaching (0-5years) MSpPath Genna is a lecturer in Speech Pathology at Charles Sturt University. Since finishing her undergraduate degrees in Speech and Hearing Science and Early Childhood Teaching, Genna went on to complete her Masters of Speech Pathology. She has extensive clinical expertise in paediatric speech, language, feeding and literacy. She has worked across a variety of settings including schools and multidisciplinary practices. Genna is passionate about supporting clients and their families to engage fully in all aspects of their lives. Genna currently teaches in the Master of Speech Pathology program but has also worked as a clinical educator at the on-campus Speech Pathology Clinic. Genna continues to work clinically as a speech pathologist in her private practice. This clinical connection with families and clients ensures that Genna remains connected with current practice, allowing her to support students to transfer theory into clinical interactions. Genna contributes to a range of subjects in the Masters of Speech Pathology including: Genna’s teaching approach focuses on providing engaging and practical learning experiences to her students.
