Kristen has practiced both within Australia and internationally, in the UK and Middle east, as a senior physiotherapist. Kristen came to CSU from a clinical leadership position as a Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist, team leader and student coordinator.
She has worked largely within the public setting and her experience ranges across both adult and paediatric acute care as well as paediatric outpatients. Kristen holds a special interest in acute care paediatrics and is researching the parental experience of physiotherapy in cystic fibrosis during infancy. She has completed the Graduate Certificate of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and is a current member of the writing panel for the Australian physiotherapy Council. Kristen also holds a keen interest in student wellbeing and is an accredited Mental Health first aider.

Kristen is involved in teaching across year levels. Her areas of speciality include cardiorespiratory and paediatric physiotherapy practice. She is involved in curriculum design and development including the use of PBL and simulation.

Kristen is undertaking a masters of philosophy on the parental experience of physiotherapy in cystic fibrosis during infancy.
