MOT Prac (OT), B Social Sci (Hons)(Psych) Sharnee joined the Occupational Therapy team at Charles Sturt University in July 2017, after 12 years within the occupational and vocational rehabilitation sector. Sharnee has worked with a diverse range of people with compensable and non-compensable conditions. Her specialist rehabilitation experience is working with adults with long-term, complex workers compensation claims, with both physical and psychological conditions. For ten years, Sharnee worked for a large, privately-owned, self-insured company, in various rehabilitation and management roles, including National Account Manager – Self Insurance. During this time, Sharnee developed a special interest in the impact of organisational leadership and policy development on the safety, injury management and human resource culture within a workplace. Sharnee holds a Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice from LaTrobe University, Bundoora. Additionally, Sharnee holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) Degree in Psychology from Macquarie University, Sydney. Sharnee is qualified in PRINCE2 project management certification. Sharnee grew up in Albury-Wodonga, and relocated back to the area in 2014. She is currently the subject co-ordinator for third and fourth year subjects, and undertakes lecturing duties across multiple subjects. Sharnee has been a Course Co-ordinator and Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at Charles Sturt University since July 2017. Sharnee is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education through Charles Sturt University.Occupational Therapy
