Kim joined the occupational therapy team at Charles Sturt University in 2013 after 8 years of clinical practice. She has worked in mental health roles in both community settings and inpatient settings and has provided services to adults with diverse occupational issues arising from mental health disorders. Her clinical experience also includes working in a rural community in South Africa for a year, working at a special education school with children with diverse acquired and congenital conditions for one year and working in occupational rehabilitation managing both non-compensable and compensable mental health and physical files.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and a Master of Education from Charles Sturt University

Since joining Charles Sturt University in 2013, Kim has been involved in the undergraduate occupational therapy program. Kim has had roles in occupational therapy workplace learning, simulation-based education, and the education and support of first year occupational therapy students as they transition to university.
