Catherine graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She commenced her career in a regional setting working at Wodonga Regional Health Service. Catherine then spent 2 years working in England in various settings across the NHS gaining a broad understanding of the different roles of Occupational Therapy. From there Catherine worked in the community health sector for 15 years both in Western Melbourne and regional Northeast Victoria working as a Senior Clinician OT and Rural Allied Health Program Manager.

Catherine has been involved in OT workplace simulations, completing university assessment marking and supported role emerging OT student placements since 2017. She has also presented at the Victorian Occupational Therapy conference and has been involved in research into Community OT’s perspective on mental health screening.

Catherine is passionate about rural and regional health, and supporting our OT students to be the best graduates in rural health.

Catherine is currently the Workplace Learning Coordinator for OT at the Albury Campus.
