Lauren has always been interested in all aspects of animal health and the associated connection within rural communities. She began her working career at a rural mixed veterinary practice, set amongst the rolling hills and picturesque backdrops of Northeast Victoria. While working at the practice, Lauren completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology from Charles Sturt University. During her undergraduate studies, Lauren received two Executive Dean’s Awards for Academic Excellence.

Lauren continues her passion for teaching future animal health care professionals and engaging in research works as she lectures into the Bachelor of Veterinary Technology.
