BVSc After graduating from Sydney University, Sarah worked in rural mixed practice for several years. She then joined NSW Department of Primary Industries to work as a veterinary officer and regional animal health manager for the Southern Slopes. She particularly enjoyed the variety of work as a government veterinarian which involved collaborating with district vets, virologists and pathologists to investigate unusual diseases in livestock. Working for the Department of Primary Industries allowed Sarah to gain experience in emergency animal disease response, state/ national animal health programs such as the national arbovirus monitoring program, the NSW ovine brucellosis accreditation scheme and NSW footrot eradication program. It also enabled Sarah to gain experience in scientific writing for a variety of audiences. Sarah commenced work with CSU in a casual capacity in 2016. She has been organising student placements for CR9 and marking student assessment tasks for the past 8 years.Veterinary Science4477671
