Francesca graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2021. She completed two years in small animal general and emergency practice during which she completed continuing education in small animal emergency medicine. She has now returned to Charles Sturt University as Lecturer in Small Animal Veterinary Practice. Her special interests include small animal surgery, anaesthesia, emergency medicine, urology, ophthalmology, and neurology.

Outside of work she also enjoys fostering neonatal kittens from local rescue groups.

Francesca’s interest in teaching stems from interactions with veterinary students as a spey clinic mentor as well as hosting students in general practice. This is her first teaching position, but she looks forward to gaining experience in the area.
