Emily graduated with a double degree in Veterinary Science and Veterinary Biology from Charles Sturt University in 2018. Since graduation, Emily worked in two busy rural mixed practices where she has gained invaluable experiences working with a wide variety of cases including after-hours emergency work. During these years she developed a broad skill set across various aspects of veterinary surgery and medicine and is keen to keep advancing her knowledge and skills.

In 2025 Emily jumped at the opportunity to join the small animal team at CSU. She is passionate about delivering high-quality care to all animals, while also fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students.

Emily has a keen interest in achieving optimal student learning experiences, and she is dedicated to implementing effective teaching practices that promote learning and growth for student experiences in veterinary education. Emily is looking forward to integrating with students in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, as they complete their final years of study.
