Scott is a Ngiyampaa man, just putting the final edits on to his PhD which will be submitted during first session 2022. His PhD has focused on uncertainty assessment of spatial domains in early-stage mining projects using pXRF and Bayesian methods.

He has over 25 years consulting experience in data, data science, quality control, geostatics and resource estimation using geostatistical methods. His current research interests include implementing Machine Learning in Health administration and Fire impacts on mangrove vegetation and regeneration. He is currently responsible for teaching some of the spatial science subjects in the undergraduate and post grade courses.
