Lisa has worked in research on an Australian Research Council discovery urban ecology project lead by Professor Gary Luck. Lisa has also worked in research and monitoring with Trust for Nature Victoria Longwood plains monitoring project and Lake Cowal Foundation (Barrick Gold Project – Lake Cowal) environmental monitoring project. PHD research looked at understanding woodland bird responses in regenerating agricultural landscapes in areas of abandoned farmland in central Victoria.

Lecturer in environmental science disciplines (Vegetation ecology) at School of Agricultural, Environmental and Veterinary Sciences since 2017. Teaching students’ practical field and research skills, research publishing and peer review. Academic roles in teaching and research with support for Faculty staff in subject review and assessment design.

My main interest is constructing habitats for wildlife within urban spaces. Creating refuges for wildlife to connect to nearby parks and reserves.
