Allison has been involved in Australian wild bird rehabilitation since 2009 and is currently the Honeyeater and Insectivore Coordinator and primary Bird Rehabilitation Trainer for Wildcare Australia on the Gold Coast. Allison has also been involved in ornithology citizen science through the Queensland Bird Research and Banding Group since 2013. She completed the CSU Graduate Diploma in Ornithology in 2020 and is a member of Birdlife Australia, Australian Bird Study Association, and Birds Queensland. She is interested in avian conservation, captive husbandry, and rehabilitation.
