Jen has extensive industry experience in both the Thoroughbred industry and the use of artificial reproductive technologies. Jen has had the privilege of working alongside some of the best equine reproductive veterinarians in the world spending time at Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital, Hagyard Equine Medical, Equibreed NZ, Colorado State University and 7 years working at Scone Equine Hospital. Jen’s passion is using the artificial reproductive toolbox to solve problems in the broodmare and the stallion.

Before commencing her position at Charles Sturt University, Jen has been involved in continuing education of Veterinarians here in Australia and abroad.  Since 2021, Jen has been lecturing Veterinary Reproduction and is heavily involved in the clinical training of veterinary students and Residents in Theriogenology

Jen’s academic career commenced in Science, studying sex preselection and cryopreservation of stallion spermatozoa.  Her research interests continue to pursue the unraveling of infertility in the mare and stallion and looking for alternatives to antimicrobials in equine reproduction.
