Jaymie Loy completed a Bachelor of Equine Science and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) at Charles Sturt University in Wagga. After graduation, Jaymie worked as an equine veterinary reproduction technician at the CSU Veterinary Clinical Centre. Jaymie started her role in academia in 2013, completed her Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in 2019. Jaymie is the Discipline lead for Equine Science and is currently undertaking her PhD in the safe and effective use of a reproductive hormone.

Jaymie primarily teaches equine/animal reproduction.

Jaymie’s main research interests are in the field of equine reproduction as well as pharmacokinetics, safety and efficacy of common equine medications. Jaymie is currently undertaking her PhD investigating safe and effective use of altrenogest in horses.
