Veronika has previously been involved in the feedlot sector in Southern and Northern Australia. She is passionate about continually improving the efficiency within livestock systems.

Veronika teaches across various animal production subjects and is specialising in meat sciences and beef production.

Veronika Vicic is currently completing her Doctorate of Philosophy (Animal Sciences) at Charles Sturt University. Her thesis is examining how to create a viable supply chain, to utilise non-replacement male calves in the Australian dairy industry.

Veronika has been in projects that involve stakeholder and consumer engagement from both live animals and carcasses in various trial sites along the beef supply chain.  More recently she has engaged in projects related to mitigation of induction stressors in feedlots and development of diagnostic testing for bovine respiratory disease (BRD) in beef feedlot cattle.
