Faculty of Science and Health
The 2024 Symposium was conducted as an online event on the 20th and 21st November, 2024. Providing HDR and Honours students an opportunity to showcase their research to their peers in an online conference setting.
There were opportunities to come together in person to meet with staff and students in on-campus lunches. A project Management workshop was held by Andrew Mashman, and CSU support information sessions were held by multiple areas giving great insight and guidance to attendees.
Students had the opportunity to present a 10 minute seminar on their research, suitable for a non-specialist audience. This was followed by 5 minutes of question time. Prizes for the best and runner up HDR and Honours seminars were awarded to be used for professional development.
A selection of posters were available for viewing online over the days. These also competed for prizes to be used for professional development.
