His future pathway is toward a PhD with a research focus on emotionally intelligent paramedic practice. Tims professional interests include toxicology, First Nations Persons Health, Remote Area Care, Maternal and Child Health, General Trauma and Primary Health Care. 2012 – Curtin University – School of Nursing. Current – CSU School of Nursing, Paramedicine and Health Care Science. My work sits at the intersection of emotional intelligence, neurocognitive regulation, and operational leadership in high‑acuity environments. I examine how emotionally intelligent leadership shapes decision‑making quality, team cohesion, and performance under pressure, with particular attention to the neurocognitive processes that support effective behaviour in acute clinical settings. This includes studying how leaders recognise and regulate limbic activation, maintain prefrontal control during complex or ambiguous situations, and foster psychologically safe team cultures that support shared situational awareness. My research contributes to improving leadership capability, reducing error, and strengthening team resilience across paramedicine and other high‑stakes professions.Paramedicine4217549
