BSc (hons), Grad Cert LTHE After completing her undergraduate degree in paramedicine (in the UK), Jennie started her professional career working as a paramedic in the NHS. Here she gained her clinical experience working in a busy, and diverse environment, as well as spending time as a solo responder, and a student preceptor. Jennie started working as an associate lecturer at Charles Sturt in early 2019 and has been involved in teaching many clinical subjects across all years of the undergraduate course. Jennie has been awarded an Excellency award in teaching and an Innovation in Teaching award during this time. Jennie enjoys creating innovative learning strategies to improve student engagement and creating an inclusive and exciting learning environment. Jennie’s research interests include communication and interpersonal skills improvement in undergraduate paramedicine students, and the roles work integrated learning (WIL) and simulation play in making our students ready for the workplace. Jennie is enrolled in a Masters of Philosophy with Charles Sturt.Paramedicine
