Andreia’s career started in molecular biology research however an interest in working directly with people led her to complete her PhD from Curtin University in Western Australia on the effects of domestic violence on the mental health of Indian women. This led to many years of working in both academia and at the community level on domestic violence and alcohol and drug misuse and interventions to decrease rates of both in our society.
