BDSc, GDipBus, MPH
Since graduating from the School of Dentistry at UWA, Erica has practiced dentistry across public and private sectors, both in metropolitan and rural settings.
She has also worked in four countries, five dental schools plus one Dental Hygiene and Therapy department.
Whilst coordinating preclinical Operative Dentistry at UWA, Erica sought ways to enrich training in this phase and became an early adopter of haptic technology for development of manual clinical skills by dental students (Simodonts, Moog).
She is a founding member of a national and international group whose aim is to develop the breadth and depth of the training opportunities with such haptic software.
Through her Public Health training, Erica has acquired the knowledge and skills to view dentistry from both a community and individual perspective. She therefore continues to enjoy the role of an educator and researcher in her field of Dentistry.
